This program is designed to bring a whole new dimension to fitness kickboxing. We’ve taken what’s regarded as one of the most effective stand up martial arts and made a curriculum that is straight forward and yields results. No experience is required. All fitness levels welcome – we will work hard to take care of you and nurture your fitness and skills!
Why train Thai Boxing
Muay Thai Kickboxing (also called Thai Boxing) is an excellent way to develop a solid training routine. It gives participants an excellent mix of strength, cardio, self defence, community, stress relief and focus. It is a simple martial art. There are no katas, poomsae or forms. There is no pressure to acquire belts or rankings. It is this simplicity, and lack of distractions that makes Muay Thai a beautiful art while simultaneously being considered the most effective stand up striking art on this planet. A typical forty five minute technique class will burn up to 450 calories, while strength & conditioning classes can see in excess of 900!
We have setup a women’s only class to further reduce any of the distractions that going to a traditional box gym can at times carry. Our facility and approach takes great pride in offering the women in our region two commitments:
- We are 100% beginner friendly and absolutely no experience is required. I will take the guess work out of the equation and teach all skills from the ground up.
- Inside our facility is 100% judgement free. Social pressures, politics, religion, trends, expectations are left at the door. On the mats of the academy we are all equal, and we support and encourage each other to be the best versions of ourselves.
